Supercharge Your Docketing with ProLaw® Date Shortcuts!

February 4, 2025

Tired of tedious date entry? ProLaw®'s got you covered with some seriously slick shortcuts that will have you docketing like a pro in no time!

Basic Date Shortcuts

  • "T": Today's date.
  • "BOM": First day of the current month.
  • "EOM": Last day of the current month.
  • "Now": Current date and time.
  • "Wednesday": Wednesday of this week (or next week if today is after Wednesday). Works for all days of the week!
  • "First": Sunday of the current week. "Third" is Tuesday, and so on.

Date Calculations

  • "BD": Business days.
  • "Y": Year.
  • "M": Month.

Examples:

  • T+1BD: One business day after today.
  • T+1M: One month from today.
  • 10/1/25+5bd: Five business days after October 1, 2025.
  • 020425-2m: Two months before February 4, 2025.

A Few Important Notes

  • While "eom+17" works (17th of next month), "eom+17bd" does not.
  • "Wednesday+1" works, but "Wednesday+1d" and "Wednesday+1bd" do not.
  • Compound calculations like "t+14bd-1m" are not supported.
